Elena Jaffe Tastensen is an attorney in private practice in Saratoga Springs and a founding member and Immediate Past President of the Adirondack Women Association.
Elena practices primarily in the areas of family, matrimonial, and criminal In addition to serving as a Law Guardian in Saratoga County, Elena has represented survivors of domestic violence in custody, family offense, abuse and neglect, child support, and matrimonial matters.
Prior to opening her own law practice, Elena practiced as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorneys Office in Manhattan, serving in the felony Domestic Violence Unit. As an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, Elena underwent hundreds of hours of domestic violence training, and prosecuted many, many perpetrators of domestic violence.
